Before starting FallenLight Photography Gail and Neil were keen photographers enjoying and successfully producing quality images for pleasure, which led to a natural progression in the professional field where their talent has continued to grow.

Horses and pets were one of the initial models for FallenLight Photography, creating images which captured the character and feeling of a living animal, a photo that animal lovers can relate to. Photographing events involved capturing all these elements but also the key moments of competition, producing images that would stand out for each and every competitor to take home.

To create stunning images involving animals Gail and Neil believe the understanding of an animal's behaviour and movement in both a natural state and in captivity alongside the bond created between animal and handler is the main advantage.

Having trained and owned horses for over 20 years Gail has vast knowledge and from an owner's view of what is loved and enjoyed about them, which gives her skill to direct photo shoots in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to create images to treasure. Along with this Gail and Neil are animal lovers large and small, enabling them to naturally bond with their subjects and understand their owners love for them, this has allowed them to expand to photographing wild animals and pets.

"Photographing animals is not just a job it's a passion, you have to photograph with creativity and feeling to create that an image that people can relate to, especially horses and pets. It's the satisfying feeling you get when an owner says you've captured the character, the moment in action, the one that makes them a proud owner."

FallenLight Photography is based in Hampshire with easy access to the M27, M3 and A34 corridors.
